Willis Re, a specialist international reinsurance broker, has announced the appointment of Mark Ladbrook to its Property Treaty team, as well as the addition of Vinay Ananthanarayanan.
Ladbrook brings 35 years of experience in the London insurance market to Willis Re’s expanding Property Treaty team.
He has spent the past 12 years at Talbot Underwriting, where he joined as an Underwriter before progressing through a series of senior roles, including Head of Property and, most recently, Active Underwriter.
Ladbrook began his career on the broking side at Marsh, where he became Head of North American Property.

His track record of growing portfolios and developing talent makes him a great fit as we continue to expand our broking team.”
Meanwhile, Ananthanarayanan brings more than 16 years of experience in reinsurance and broking, with a track record in production and strategic broking.
He joins Willis Re from Gallagher Re, where he served as Executive Director and led its sales efforts across Asia.
Prior to that, he held various senior leadership roles at Aon, most recently serving as Head of Production, where he drove new business generation across Asia.
Clarke added, “Vinay brings a great mix of analytical depth and commercial experience. He takes the time to understand clients’ risks in detail and find the right capacity and structures to address them, which makes him a valuable addition as we grow our presence in Asia-Pacific.”
