Resilience, a cyber risk solutions company, has promoted Chris Pitcher to Head of North America Underwriting Strategy and Operations and Alex Carleton to US Distribution Leader.
In his new role, Pitcher will continue to shape and execute Resilience’s underwriting strategy. He will also take on strategic oversight of distribution and operations across the US and Canada, developing broker-facing processes, performance frameworks and relationship management for the region. He will continue working across Resilience’s product, operations and underwriting teams, and will report to Kotsiopoulos.
He joined Resilience in February 2025 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Underwriting Performance, where he led enterprise initiatives spanning underwriting playbooks, workflow automation, and capacity and product projects.
Prior to joining Resilience, Pitcher spent a decade at Arch Insurance, where he held underwriting roles in its US professional liability business before becoming Assistant Vice President and Head of Cyber for Arch Insurance Canada.
As US Distribution Leader, Carleton will lead Resilience’s relationships with retail and wholesale broker partners across the US. He will focus on deepening existing partnerships, broadening Resilience’s broker relationships, maintaining its national market presence and ensuring broker feedback on market conditions, client needs and placement experience reaches Resilience’s underwriting and product teams.
Carleton joined Resilience in 2022 as Western Regional Manager. He brings more than a decade of experience in commercial insurance across underwriting and brokerage.
Before joining Resilience, he served as an Underwriting Consultant at CNA. Before that, he held roles at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, The Hartford and Costello & Sons Insurance Brokers.
Resilience said the two promotions connect its underwriting strategy, operations and broker distribution in North America.
