Guy Carpenter appoints Connie Tregidga as MD in Global Structured Solutions

Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter, a Marsh McLennan company, has announced the appointment of Connie Tregidga as Managing Director of its global Structured Solutions team.

She will be based in London and will focus on traditional trading and sidecar activities, areas that Guy Carpenter believes are becoming increasingly important in the reinsurance and structured solutions markets.

Tregidga’s appointment further strengthens the company’s capabilities in these areas and enhances its structured solutions offering to clients to adapt to changing market conditions.

She joins Guy Carpenter with a background that combines legal expertise with extensive transactional experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries.

Most recently, she served as Group M&A Director at Compre Group, where she spent nearly five years overseeing M&A activities. Prior to this, she spent more than a decade at QBE Insurance in a variety of senior roles, including Head of Retrospective Solutions and Group Reinsurance Legal Advisor and Group Reinsurance Legal Advisor.

In these roles, she was responsible for supporting legal risk management and governance across QBE’s global reinsurance business, with a particular focus on retroactive solutions transactions and captive insurance arrangements. Earlier in her career, she worked at QBE Europe as corporate counsel and legal counsel.
