Markel International, the insurance business of Markel Group Inc., has appointed Alisha Everett as assistant vice president of Contractors, Trade and Construction Services and Nicholas Doy as CTCS team manager, effective immediately.
In his new role in Toronto, Everett will lead Markel’s CTCS strategy in Canada, overseeing underwriting execution and driving profitable growth in the contractor and trade divisions.
The executive will leverage her deep expertise in construction and casualty underwriting to work with national underwriting and distribution teams to strengthen market participation, refine risk appetite and enhance Markel’s value proposition to brokers and clients.
As a manager, also based in Toronto, Doy will support the CTCS team’s underwriting performance, portfolio development and broker engagement in key regions across Canada.
His appointment enhances Markel’s ability to deliver responsive, specialist underwriting solutions to meet the evolving needs of contractors and trade clients.
