Delos Insurance Solutions, a property and casualty insurance managing general agency, has made a series of senior leadership changes as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.
The company focuses on home insurance solutions, particularly in markets where many traditional insurance companies have reduced or withdrawn coverage. By combining proprietary wildfire science with satellite imagery technology, Delos aims to increase insurance availability for homeowners in high-risk areas.
Co-founder Shanna McIntyre will take over as chief strategy officer from her previous role as chief data officer. Meanwhile, Andrew Notohamiprodjo has been promoted from head of data to chief data officer. These leadership changes are designed to support the company’s broader geographic expansion and further strengthen its analytics-led approach to underwriting.
The company has also expanded its senior team to strengthen distribution, carrier engagement and regulatory oversight. Valencia Jones joins Nationwide where she served as director of brokerage distribution and most recently served as assistant vice president of sales.
With extensive experience in personal lines sales management and claims, she will lead field and inside sales teams while overseeing prime broker and aggregator partnerships with a focus on increasing volume and deepening agent relationships.
Alexandra Howe has been appointed director of carrier and corporate relations, following her previous role as carrier performance manager at Goosehead Insurance. She will be responsible for advancing carrier and key account relationships and supporting growth initiatives while maintaining alignment with the company’s distribution strategy and profitability goals.
Lorenzo Houston joins as Compliance Manager after serving as Director of Personal Practices at SageSure. With a strong track record in insurance compliance, he will oversee the development and execution of a compliance framework designed to ensure consistent and efficient regulatory compliance across the business.
“Delos has grown significantly over the past two years, with impressive loss ratios and a bright future,” said Kevin Stein, CEO of Delos Insurance Solutions. “When Shanna and I started the company, we wanted to provide insurance to people in wildfire-threatened areas of California, where we are both from. We are now looking to expand further into the Western United States and beyond.
“We believe now is the time to appoint a dedicated chief strategy officer, a role Shanna will excel in. Andrew’s impact on our robust science and data-driven wildfire risk models has been tremendous. His expertise and drive are extremely valuable. We fully expect his leadership to further positively impact the company through the role of chief data officer.”
Stein further added, “With the addition of great people like Valencia, Lorenzo and Alex, I am confident Delos will continue its impressive growth trajectory and accelerate our mission to increase access to insurance in areas affected by wildfires.”
“Company strategy has been part of Kevin’s and my responsibilities to date. Now, with the growth we have achieved and significant plans for further expansion, we have decided we need a dedicated strategy role. I look forward to dedicating even more time to ensuring we remain successful. The accuracy of our wildfire risk model has been further demonstrated by forecasting the extent of the Los Angeles fires. There are now 370,000 additional homes eligible for the Delos policy Customers have increased confidence in our models and we hope to see this trend continue,” McIntyre commented of her new role.
Additionally, Delos Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs Tom Pratt has been appointed to the Legislative Committee of the California Insurance Wholesalers Association, which advocates on behalf of wholesale insurance professionals across the state. He also serves on the Legislative Committee of the California Surplus Lines Association.
The company expects to continue growing its team in 2026 to support its continued growth strategy.
