Aon has announced leadership changes for its Reinsurance Solutions business in Greece and Cyprus, with Dimitris Lymperis appointed regional CEO, succeeding Manolis Siatounis, and Evros Kyriakides appointed managing director.

The company said the new senior leadership teams in Greece and Cyprus will work to provide better decision-making for insurance clients in the region, supporting them to navigate market volatility and emerging risks, while unlocking sustainable profitable growth opportunities.

“By expanding Aon’s range of treaty and facultative reinsurance solutions, driving innovation in products and analytics, and working closely with colleagues across EMEA, the leadership team will continue to deliver best-in-class value and data-driven insights to regional clients,” Aon explained.

Commenting on the changes, Tomas Novotny, CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions EMEA, said: “With Dimitris and Evros taking on their new roles, clients can continue to look forward to industry-leading capabilities in treaty and temporary business, with data-led solutions delivered through coordinated regional and global teams.”

“On behalf of our company, we would like to thank Manolis for his 12 years at Aon. We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his successful leadership and dedication in helping us build a meaningful reinsurance footprint in Greece and Cyprus.”

Lymperis said: “I am excited to take on this new role and my goal is to build on the incredible foundation laid during Manolis’ successful tenure, which has allowed us to further enhance the customer value we deliver in the region and drive better business decisions.”

Kyriakides added: “This is a transformational time not only for our regional leadership, but for the entire industry as we embrace new technologies and solutions to help our clients address emerging risks and build resilience.”
