ANV Group Holdings Ltd. (ANV), a global insurance intermediary platform, has appointed Sarthak Sharma as head of its US Transactional Risk business, while also announcing that Colin Addy and Greg Conroy have departed ANV to pursue other opportunities.
Sharma joins ANV with almost 10 years of experience in insurance and law, including work across transactional risk, underwriting and mergers and acquisitions. He will be responsible for the US Transactional Risk team, with his responsibilities including business development, broker engagement and the delivery of insurance solutions for complex M&A transactions.
“Sarthak brings deep transactional risk expertise, strong underwriting and legal experience, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships across the M&A market,” commented Aaron Basilius, Executive Vice President, Head of US MGAs at ANV. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to grow ANV’s US Transactional Risk platform.”
Sharma previously held the position of Senior Vice President & Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions at Ryan Transactional Risk. ANV said that, during his time there, he focused on representations and warranties insurance and advised on complex M&A transactions involving brokers, strategic buyers and private equity firms.

ANV said Addy and Conroy have now left the business following their respective periods with the company. Both executives were involved in the development of ANV’s US Transactional Risk operation.
