Specialty insurance company RLI Corp. has announced the promotion of Kevin Brownell to vice president of claims.
In his new role, Brownell will provide executive leadership and oversight of RLI’s casualty claims operations.
He brings more than 25 years of insurance claims and legal experience to the position.
Brownell joined RLI in 2018 as director of claims and was promoted to assistant vice president of claims in 2023.
“Kevin is a respected leader with deep claims expertise, sound judgment and a strong commitment to service excellence,” said Jen Klobnak, chief operating officer of RLI.
“His contributions have helped strengthen our casualty claims business, improving technical excellence and customer service. We are confident he will continue to be successful in his new role.”
