Specialty insurance and reinsurance brokerage Price Forbes has announced the expansion of its cross-category tracking tool Lectio to include casualty insurance.

Lectio initially launched in April 2021, providing Price Forbes clients and brokers with guaranteed exclusive capabilities.

The platform began offering freight, physical, financial products, healthcare and marine insurance with a premium coverage of approximately $350 million.

Today, the facility has expanded across multiple categories including aviation, cargo/inventory throughput, construction/builder risk, cyber, onshore and offshore energy, financial institutions, maritime, global property, power and now casualty, with current coverage of approximately $1.6 billion in premiums.

Most recently, Price Forbes launched Lectio in Bermuda in February 2026, adding construction and builders risk insurance in July 2025.

Casualty is one of Price Forbes’ largest cross-platform business lines. This expansion is a large-scale improvement of the team’s capabilities and an important step in Lectio’s growth strategy.

The expanded product will launch in the United States, Canada and Australia, giving Price Forbes customers automatic access to pre-approved coverage from leading insurance companies in these categories.

Dan Walsh, chief underwriting officer at Ardonagh Specialty, said: “Expanding into casualty insurance is a natural fit for Lectio so that we can serve this core business category in the London market. In addition, it provides Price Forbes with a key competitive advantage, allowing us to deliver long-term sustainable capabilities to our customers throughout the insurance cycle.”
