Moonrock Insurance, a specialist managing general agent (MGA) providing insurance solutions for unmanned aviation, drones and advanced air mobility, has appointed Alex Seymour as senior underwriter as the company continues to expand its underwriting capabilities and support its international growth strategy.
Seymour has over 30 years’ experience in aviation insurance underwriting, having worked in the corporate and Lloyd’s markets during his career.
He joins Moonrock Insurance with extensive experience managing complex aviation portfolios globally and building long-term relationships with brokers and clients across the industry.
Seymour previously held senior underwriting positions at Nexus, Marsh, Brit Global Specialty, QBE and Allianz. Throughout his career he has contributed to the development of the international aviation portfolio and supported the expansion of established underwriting operations.
His expertise spans the general aviation market, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing risks, and is recognized for his technical knowledge and underwriting experience.
