Fortegra Group, a division of DB Insurance Co., Ltd., a global specialty insurance company, has appointed Anthony Katz as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Reserves.
In his new role, Katz will lead Fortegra’s team of professional actuaries responsible for reserves, credit insurance, statistical reporting and key initiatives, including IFRS 17.
He has over thirty years of industry experience in reserving, pricing and actuarial transformation, most recently as an independent consulting actuary providing advisory services to a variety of actuarial disciplines
In the past, Katz has held senior leadership positions at ToaRe, Everest Re, Arch Insurance, Ernst & Young and ACE.
Throughout his career, Katz has been recognized for modernizing actuarial operations, including automating reserving processes, deploying business intelligence tools across insurance and reinsurance platforms, and leading large-scale actuarial transformation initiatives.
