Global reinsurance broker Marsh Re has appointed Keri Elborn as Managing Director (MD) of its London Capital and Advisory team, where he will play a key role in helping the firm further build its footprint and support clients.
The broker explained that this appointment aligns with its long-term goal to continue supporting re/insurance clients with capital-raising and M&A transactions, while also deepening relationships with key accounts across the UK and Continental Europe.
Elborn has a strong advisory and industry experience, with a track record of working on transactions and strategic matters across financial services and insurance.
Currently, he serves on the Board of Northumbria University and is Interim Vice Chair and Member of the Board of Trustees for The Fairtrade Foundation.
Most recently, he served at EY for nearly five years as Head of Financial Services M&A Lead Advisory and Associate Partner.
Elborn was also the Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, covering M&A, commercial due diligence, performance management and value creation across Financial Services, Fintechs and SPACs.
In the past, he spent almost nine years at Barclays as Director of Investor Relations, and Director and Senior Lead, Barclays Corporate Development.
Today, Marsh Re also announced the appointment of Lauren Nevens as Managing Director and Public Entity Segment Leader, based in Chicago.
