Natsuko Kato has joined Aon’s Transaction Solutions team as Deputy Director, Asia, a Japan-based role, where she will support the broker’s M&A insurance practice across the region.
An experienced professional, Kato brings deep experience in advising global private equity investors on transactions in Japan, providing a practical understanding of risk allocation and value protection throughout the deal lifecycle.
With her blend of technical knowledge, commercial insight, and client-centric approach, she will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Aon’s Transaction Solutions business throughout Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Kato joins Aon from Medtronic Japan, where she served as Principal Legal Counsel and advised on strategic M&A initiatives, transaction-related risk matters and post-acquisition integration activities.
She led legal support for the integration of a newly acquired business and brings extensive experience assessing legal, regulatory and compliance risks across complex cross-border transactions.
