Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter, part of Marsh Group, plans to unify its UK property and casualty team and London-based European team under a single leadership structure in 2027, which will reportedly give clients more “seamless access” to broking, claims, analytics and advisory expertise across Europe.
Leon Janeke will lead the UK P&C and London Europe combined teams, having previously led the London Europe team for three years.
Meanwhile, market veteran Dean Jenner, who has 41 years of industry experience and has been with Guy Carpenter for six years, will chair the combined team.
The company said Jenner was instrumental in establishing its leading position in the UK property market and will now focus on developing its future talent pipeline, solving complex customer challenges that drive competitive advantage and identifying emerging growth opportunities in new venture areas.
Janeke will report to Guy Carpenter UK CEO Paul Moody and Europe CEO Julian Enoizi, while Dean Jenner will report solely to Moody.
