HDI Global, the corporate and specialty insurance company of Talanx Group, has appointed Dan Feige as head of engineering, construction and inland marine underwriting for HDI Global US.
In his new role, Feige will help advance HDI’s underwriting platform, increasing the value the company provides to its clients and brokerage partners through high-quality, technology-driven and reliable insurance solutions.
He brings nearly three decades of experience leading underwriting, product, engineering and portfolio management operations across inland marine, offshore marine, equipment breakdown and construction businesses.
Feige also has experience developing high-performing teams and implementing innovative products and operating models while driving profitable growth.
Most recently, he served as Liberty Mutual’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Marine, Key Accounts, with P&L responsibility for a multi-million dollar portfolio of marine and equipment failure businesses.
