Aon names Mike Pasterick as North America Health Leader

Aon plc, a global professional services firm specializing in risk, retirement and health solutions, announced the appointment of Mike Pasterick as head of health, North America, effective immediately.

Pastrick will oversee Aon’s health solutions business in North America, supporting clients as they navigate major developments shaping the healthcare and benefits landscape. These include the introduction of new treatments, changing employee well-being expectations and the growing influence of technology across the industry.

Based in Washington, D.C., he reports to Anne Corona, CEO, North America, and Byron Beebe, CEO, Human Capital. He succeeds Farheen Dam, currently CEO of corporate clients and chief client officer at Aon.

Pastrick will be responsible for integrating the company’s capabilities to help organizations solve increasingly complex health and wellness issues. His focus will include supporting clients in managing healthcare costs, improving workforce outcomes and making smarter business decisions.

Aon added that he will work with the company’s human capital and regional leadership teams to further strengthen the delivery of integrated services and solutions.

“As organizations face rising healthcare costs and increasing complexity, Mike has a proven track record of aligning clients’ healthcare strategies with broader business priorities,” Corona said in announcing the appointment. “His ability to combine consulting, brokerage and delivery capabilities to create measurable impact for clients will help us continue to help organizations make better health decisions.”

Aon emphasized that Pasterick brings more than two decades of experience to the position, including more than 13 years with the company. Most recently, he led Aon’s health business in the Northeast, where he was responsible for driving strategy and growth for a variety of clients.

In this role, he works closely with organizations to align healthcare initiatives with broader business goals, particularly during periods of organizational change such as mergers and acquisitions. The company also cited his experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, customer-focused solutions.
