Marsh Reinsurance brokerage Guy Carpenter has announced four senior appointments to its Nordic and Baltic teams, including Samir Baha as deputy chief executive.
Baha brings more than two decades of industry experience. He joins Guy Carpenter from Howden Re where he was Managing Director. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at SiriusPoint and Willis Re and began his career as a broker at BMS Group.
Daniel Schwinn has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Reporting for the Nordic and Baltic region.
Schwinn has a strong background in casual property and engineering underwriting, having previously served as senior casualty property and engineering underwriter for Northern Europe at Hannover Re.
Olle Ytander has been appointed senior vice president and head of sales.
Most recently, Ytander served as Marsh Risk’s Nordic Network Director. Prior to that, he was Network Director at Marsh Sweden. Prior to joining Marsh, he worked at JLT Specialty for seven years.
Additionally, Anina Grell has been named senior vice president, life broker.
Grell joins Guy Carpenter from Swiss Re, where he spent nearly 20 years, most recently as a marketing actuary.
Guy Carpenter said the appointments bring deep local market expertise and broad global experience, strengthening its capabilities and deepening partnerships with the Nordic and Baltic re/insurance community.
