Prevensure Group, a provider of re/insurance broking, underwriting services, and bespoke risk management solutions, has appointed Douglas Egesa as Regional Director of Prevensure Re.
Most recently, Egesa served as the Regional Representative for Africa at Kuwait Reinsurance Company K.S.C.P., based in Kenya.
Prior to this, he spent four years wth Continental Reinsurance in several senior roles, including Underwriting Manager, Assistant Manager and Senior Executive for Underwriting and Claims.
Egesa has also served as a Facultative Energy Underwriter for Misr Insurance Company, based in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
He started his career at Trust Re, spending nearly six years with the firm in roles including Deputy Underwriter for Facultative Property and Engineering, Africa and as an Underwriting Assistant for Facultative Property and Engineering.
