Distinguished Programs, the national MGA and insurance program manager, has officially opened its ocean freight program.
This plan covers physical loss or damage to goods during transportation and storage. Coverage includes inventory throughput, ocean/international transportation, domestic inland transportation, foreign inland transportation and emergency cargo, addressing complex global supply chain and specialty logistics risks in various industries.
Distinguished Marine Cargo President Ralph Salce leads the program, bringing more than thirty years of industry experience.
Salce joins Ralph Santoro, Derek Gibbons, John Murillo and Jose Schloessman to form a team focused on responsive service and custom solutions.
Coverage is backed by Allianz and written on approved paper, providing brokers and insureds with a strong financial foundation and consistent capabilities.
Prominent notes that the Ocean Freight program further expands its specialty portfolio to include environmental, fine art and collectibles, real estate, hotels, restaurants, transactional liability, community associations, administration, suretyship and inland marine.
“Our focus is on helping brokers navigate complex cargo placements with clarity and confidence,” said Salce.
“We work closely with our partners to build coverage around how our customers move and store goods, from global transportation to warehousing and specialist logistics risks. Allianz’s support provides a strong and stable foundation for the program.”
