Global insurance broker Gallagher has announced the appointment of Steve Munday as Managing Partner of Natural Resources.
In his new role, Munday will be responsible for further developing Gallagher’s client portfolio, services and capabilities in its renewables practice area.
He will report to Julian Raven, CEO of Natural Resources, and work alongside Duncan Gordon, Head of Renewable Energy at Gallagher.
Munday brings nearly 40 years of insurance industry experience, having specialised in the developing renewable, clean and low-carbon energy transition sectors for the past two decades.
He joins Gallagher from WTW, having led its global renewable practice and London renewables team for the last ten years.
Prior to that, he was Renewable Energy & Power – International Leader at Marsh, responsible for delivering London Specialty capability directly to global clients and Marsh Global Network offices in the Renewable Energy & Power space.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at Aon Risk Solutions, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, General Accident Insurance, Legal & General and RSA.
