Corgi, an AI-native insurance platform that helps businesses manage technology-related risks, announced the appointment of Jeremy Eisemann as head of government affairs and deputy general counsel.

In his new role, Eisman will lead the firm’s government affairs strategy and support legal operations, regulatory engagement, policy development, corporate governance and strategic initiatives.

He will work closely with the leadership team to advance Corgi’s mission of helping organizations manage emerging technology and artificial intelligence risks.

Eisemann joins Corgi from the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA), where he served as vice president of state government affairs and assistant general counsel. In this role, he leads government affairs and regulatory strategy on behalf of global reinsurers and brokers. He works with insurance commissioners, legislators, regulators and industry stakeholders across the United States on issues affecting insurance markets, catastrophe risk, artificial intelligence, data governance and emerging regulatory developments.

Prior to that, he spent nearly 15 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance in legal and government affairs leadership roles. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president, senior public affairs officer and senior legal counsel, where he oversaw government relations, lobbying and all legislative and regulatory issues affecting Liberty Mutual.

“Jeremy’s experience in reinsurance, insurance regulation, government affairs and legal strategy makes him ideally suited to support Corgi’s continued growth,” said Corgi General Counsel Peter Skaliy.

“As the regulatory and risk environment continues to evolve with advances in artificial intelligence, Jeremy’s expertise and relationships across the insurance ecosystem will be invaluable in helping us engage thoughtfully with regulators, policymakers and industry stakeholders.”

Corgi’s AI-native platform is transforming the way insurance is delivered, making it more efficient, accessible and responsive to customer needs. I look forward to supporting responsible innovation, working constructively with regulators and industry stakeholders, and helping advance Corgi’s mission to deliver trustworthy insurance solutions to the next generation of technology-driven businesses.”
