Compre Group Holdings Limited (Compre), an international specialist reinsurance group registered in Bermuda, announces the appointment of Graham Taylor as Managing Director, Underwriting, with immediate effect.
In this role, Taylor will report to chief underwriting officer Rachel Bardon and will play a key role in leading the group’s retrospective reinsurance activities, overseeing the execution of new transactions across its portfolio.
Taylor joins David Quinn and Zameer Mitha as part of the company’s senior underwriting leadership team, further strengthening its capital solutions platform.
He has over 20 years of experience in both traditional and transactional businesses. Prior to joining the company, he served as head of mergers and acquisitions at Catalina Re, where he was involved in the company’s global expansion and subsequent restructuring.
During his tenure, Compre said he completed significant corporate and reinsurance transactions, including high-value acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to joining Catalina Re, Taylor spent nearly 15 years at Enstar Group, most recently as senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Compre said he has led a broad range of transactions in international markets in support of the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Bardon added: “We are delighted to welcome Graham to Compre. He has a proven track record in deal origination and execution, which will be invaluable as we continue to grow our underwriting platform and wider proposition. Graham’s deep experience and commercial acumen will further enhance our ability to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.”
Commenting on his appointment, Taylor said: “Compre has a long history of innovation and I’m delighted to be joining Compre at such an exciting time in the company’s growth. While focusing on the retrospective business (traditional legacy trading), I will also support Compre’s work in meeting the need for reinsurance solutions with a focus on capital optimization and very much look forward to working with Rachel and the team.”
