Chetna Gulati-Kapoor has been appointed Global Chief Claims Officer of Marsh Risk, an insurance broker and business of Marsh.
Gulati-Kapoor has 20 years of experience in claims advocacy and client service. She began her career in private practice in India and the UK, before moving into claims roles across a number of insurers in the UK.
She joined Marsh in 2021 from CNA Hardy and most recently served as Marsh Risk’s Global Claims Advocacy Leader.
In her new role, effective September 1, Gulati-Kapoor will reportedly lead Marsh Risk’s global claims strategy and work with colleagues across the business to support clients with complex claims, strengthen advocacy, and help “deliver consistent outcomes around the world”.
She succeeds Rob Powell, who has been named Chairman, Global Claims, Marsh Risk.
Gulati-Kapoor will report to John Donnelly, President, Global Placement, Marsh Risk, who commented, “Chetna is a highly respected claims leader with an outstanding track record of supporting clients through complex and demanding situations.
