Global re/insurance broker and risk advisor Aon has announced the promotion of Hugo Carson to Greater Florida market leader.
Carson succeeds Brian Bark, who now heads Aon’s New York City market.
In his new role, Carson will lead overall strategy, growth and operations for Aon’s Greater Florida market. He will oversee market performance across all solution lines and be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer engagement, operational excellence and colleague experience across the region.
He has more than two decades of experience in risk and human capital and joined Aon in April 2022 as a managing director and growth leader.
Prior to that, Carson held various senior leadership roles at AIG, most recently as managing director of general insurance for the Florida and Carolinas region. He also served as vice president of trade credit for Allied World.
