The UK arm of global insurance company Zurich has announced the appointment of Mark McCausland as its new chief operating officer.
In his new role, McCausland will help drive strategic initiatives, enhance market experience and support the responsible adoption of new technologies.
He has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry and joins Zurich UK after 21 years at Chubb. During his tenure, he held leadership positions in the areas of actuarial science, enterprise risk management, capital management, business operations and transformation, and served on boards in France and Switzerland.
Most recently, McCausland served as global head of transformation at Chubb.
He began his career at Bacon & Woodrow and Lane Clark & ​​Peacock LLP.
