Global insurance and reinsurance broker WTW has announced the appointment of Lizzie Eason as Director and Actuarial Data Scientist for its North American Pricing, Products, Claims and Underwriting (PPCU) consulting team.
In her new role, Eason will leverage her nine years of insurance experience to support PPCU clients and prospects by developing comprehensive consulting and technology solutions.
Her work focuses on predictive modeling, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) applications to meet complex customer needs.
Eason will also work with insurance companies to design and implement robust analytics frameworks that enhance data capabilities and help embed more effective decision-making across the organization.
She will report to Dale Porfilio, senior director of personal and commercial practices and head of business development for the Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) practice.
The executive most recently served as chief data scientist at Everest and previously served as a data science consultant at Nationwide. She is also a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and active in the Network of Actuarial Women and Allies (NAWA).
