Property and casualty insurer Great American Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Nattakorn Wattanaumphaipong as senior director of technical underwriting for its Singapore arm.
In his new role, Wattanaumphaipong will oversee technical underwriting and portfolio management, executing underwriting strategies that support the Singapore branch’s business expansion plans.
He will work with the Singapore CEO and Deputy CEO to drive product development and identify opportunities to enter existing and new markets for profitable growth.
Wattanaumpphaipong has more than 20 years of industry experience, holding senior leadership roles in management, reinsurance underwriting and business development in the Asia Pacific region.
He joins Canopius Group where he served as deputy chief underwriting officer for Asia Pacific.
Prior to this, Wattanaumpphaipong served as Head of Asian Property Underwriting at Swiss Re.
