Marsh, a risk advisory, insurance brokerage and reinsurance services company, announced the appointment of Tracie Thompson as global head of portfolio solutions for Marsh Risk, effective immediately.
In new role in New York, Thompson will leadHe continues to develop Marsh’s regional and global proprietary portfolio solutions, ensuring they are scalable, market-ready, and fully aligned with customer needs.
The executive has more than 28 years of experience in the global insurance industry, building a distinguished career characterized by expertise in business strategy, portfolio optimization and leveraging data to drive decision-making and customer value.
Her professional background also includes a variety of leadership roles across disciplines US, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Most recently, she served as global leader of Cytora’s Strategic Accounts group, supporting global reinsurers, brokers and MGAs in embedding digital underwriting and portfolio optimization capabilities.
Thompson’s previous experience also includes time at Aon, where he held a number of senior positions, notably as CEO of Business Risk Solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In her new role as Marsh, Thompson, who will report to John Donnelly, president of global placements at Marsh Risk, commented: “In today’s complex risk environment, our portfolio solutions enable a rapidly growing number of clients to manage their insurance and risk needs more efficiently than they can in the public markets.
