Thomas Artmann joins Willis Re Germany as CEO

Specialist reinsurance broking and advisory business Willis Re has appointed Thomas Artmann as CEO of Willis Re Germany, effective immediately, with the Munich-based executive responsible for developing the company’s German operations, establishing its presence in the region and driving its strategic objectives.

Artmann holds over 36 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, including 25 years working exclusively at Munich Re.

Most recently, he served as CEO of Munich Re Syndicates Ltd. and was previously a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Munich Re’s Lloyd’s subsidiary, Munich Re Underwriting Ltd.
