The Fidelis Partnership and Pine Walk introduce new London hub at Grace Hall

Specialist insurance and reinsurance group Fidelis Partnership (TFP) and its managing general agency (MGA) platform Pine Walk have opened a new office in London’s Grace Hall.

Grace Hall is a Grade II listed building in Leadenhall Street, London, originally built in 1927 as the London base for the family banking company Grace & Co. The building has now been restored and reopened as a workplace for financial and insurance market participants.

The new office, located near Lloyds of London, is designed to support closer collaboration between brokers and underwriters. A key feature is the former banking hall, now converted into a broker’s lounge.

The space is intended for meetings, private discussions and informal interactions between TFP and Pine Walk MGA’s broker and underwriting teams.

The move will take Pine Walk staff from its previous base on Lime Street to a site in central London. Within the new offices, Navium will occupy the first floor, while other Pine Walk MGAs will be located on the remaining floors.

Launched in 2017, Pine Walk operates a platform that supports managing general agents by providing underwriting infrastructure, operational support and regulatory services for the specialty insurance business. It currently oversees 16 MGAs and recently announced one more.

In 2025, the platform expands with the launch of 5 new MGAs and increases total written premiums to $1 billion, compared to $900 million in 2024. This growth reflects continued activity in its portfolio and continued development of the MGA model.

Michael Davern, UK CUO and Group Head of D&F Real Estate and Energy at Fidelis Partnership, said: “Opening an office in the historic Grace Hall is another milestone moment in the excellent development of TFP and the Pine Walk platform. We are delighted to welcome our broker partners to the banking hall at Grace Hall; in renovating Grace Hall we are bringing back a legendary city location while creating a space that reflects our focus across the group on nurturing collaboration.

“The ability to cross-sell products and build customized specialty solutions across different lines of business is a key strategic focus for TFP and a core feature of our underwriting leadership. We also believe strongly in the unparalleled value of individual underwriting and negotiation. In the Broker Lounge at Grace Hall, this collaboration will take center stage as we continue to address critical and complex market needs with flexible and creative underwriting solutions that we can allocate to our capacity partners and syndicates.”
