Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has appointed Richard Alexander as head of eastern property.
In his new role, Alexander will lead Swiss Re CorSo’s East Property team, supporting underwriting performance, profit growth and ongoing engagement with clients and brokers in the region.
He has more than thirty years of experience in leadership roles in reinsurance brokerage, property underwriting and corporate insurance.
For nearly 16 years, Alexander served as Vice President and Property Team Leader for Zurich Global Corporate North America, a large global insurance company.
Prior to that, from 2004 to 2010, he served as Eastern Region Property Manager for American International Group, Inc., a global insurance and financial services organization that provides property and casualty insurance, life and retirement solutions.
