If you’ve so much as dared to open social media over the last few years, there’s no doubt you will have been bombarded with SURI’s beautiful, pastel-coloured electric toothbrushes.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be equal parts suspicious of anything that floods your social feeds, and desperate to try it.
Luckily for you, I’m more fickle than you are and gave in to trying SURI toothbrushes – and I’m pleased to announce they’re excellent.
When I tried SURI 2.0 earlier this year, I was thoroughly impressed by its month-long battery length, haptic sensor-powered vibrations, and the fact it packs up neatly in a UV cleaning charging storage case, making it easy for travel.
But at £104.99, I knew it wasn’t a price most people would be willing to swing for an electric toothbrush.
So when the brand announced it was launching a Core 1.0, a new, more affordable electric toothbrush earlier this year, in efforts to get more people using one, I was thrilled.
Honestly, I think everyone should have one of these toothbrushes (and I can say that having used a clunky old Oral B one for nearly a decade) so the fact SURI Core 1.0 usually retails for £65 is a huge plus for me.
In even better news for you, though, the toothbrush is on sale for just £49.99 this Amazon Prime Day, meaning you can buy in to the hype for less.
In case you needed some convincing, it’s seriously worth it: aside from coming with a different coloured head to the body and missing the travel case, SURI 1.0 is essentially the same as the 2.0.
Sure, it’s not quite so quiet, and the charge lasts just under a month, as opposed to slightly over, but neither of those things make a significant enough dent on the fact you’re saving up to £50 on the original model.
It’s powered by 28,000 sonic vibrations per minute, which can result in 100% more plaque removed than a regular manual toothbrush.
The brush also comes with a haptic sensor, which can tell when you’re brushing your teeth too aggressively, or not intensely enough, and adjust its power accordingly.
Not to mention it still comes with wireless charging, and a mirror mount so you can keep your bathroom counter top clean.
If you’re eco-inclined, don’t worry, because unlike other toothbrushes that will likely end up clogging up landfills for centuries to come, SURI’s heads are plant-based, and if you send them back to SURI they’ll make sure they’re recycled properly for you.
It also comes with a brush cover, so you can still put it in an overnight bag, and losing the case means it’s also lighter and an ideal travel companion.
If you’ve been meaning to try a SURI brush but don’t want to commit to £100, don’t miss 23% off the SURI 1.0 until 7 October.
