Steadfast reports underlying revenue of AU$2.10bn for FY’26

Australian insurance broker network Steadfast Group has reported a 15.3% year-over-year increase in underlying revenue to AU$2.10 billion for FY2026, while underlying NPATA rose 7.1% to AU$366.3 million.

For FY2026, the firm’s underlying EBITTA increased 13.8% to AU$669.8 million, while underlying diluted earnings per share rose 7.7% to 28.8 cents.

Steadfast’s underlying NPAT for FY2026 climbed 8.2% to AU$319.5 million. On a statutory basis, including non-trading gains and losses, FY2026 NPAT was AU$269.1 million, compared with AU$334.9 million in FY2025.

Looking at the firm’s key business segments, Steadfast Australasian Network brokers delivered gross written premium (GWP) growth of 6.2% to AU$13.2 billion for FY2026, with underlying EBITTA up 13.2%, including 10.5% growth from acquisitions.

Steadfast said its broker-hubbing strategy helped drive operating efficiencies and reduce cost duplication.

Meanwhile, Steadfast Underwriting Agencies generated AU$2.5 billion of GWP for FY2026, up 2.3% on FY2025, alongside underlying EBITTA of AU$260.8 million.

Steadfast International generated underlying EBITTA of AU$29.8 million for FY2026, a AU$23.9 million increase on FY2025.

Managing Director and CEO Robert Kelly AM said the results demonstrated Steadfast’s continued growth trajectory despite a challenging operating environment.

“I am pleased to present our FY2026 results, continuing Steadfast’s track record of accretive growth since listing in August 2013,” Kelly said.

“Despite a challenging operating environment, disciplined execution and strong cost management, we delivered solid performance and positioned the business for continued long-term growth.”

In related news, Steadfast recently entered into a Scheme Implementation Deed (SID) with Amwins Australasia and Starboard BidCo, an entity indirectly owned by funds managed or advised by affiliates of Dragoneer and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., for the acquisition of all of the issued shares of Steadfast at an enterprise value of approximately AU$7.7 billion.
