International specialist re/insurance managing general agent (MGA) Rokstone has announced three new leadership appointments, including the promotion of Nadine Kearney to chief underwriting and risk officer.
Kearney will also join Rokstone’s board of directors as executive director of SMF3.
“This newly created position reflects not only the complexity of our growing business, but also our confidence in Nadine’s ability to direct underwriting and risk oversight across geographies,” said Rokstone.
Adding: “As Rokstone expands into more sectors, categories and geographies, the need for greater consistency and alignment increases. Nadine’s appointment ensures the framework underpinning our success remains robust, scalable and future-proof.”
Rokstone also appointed Robin Ungless as chief underwriting officer for its specialty division. The executive has more than 35 years of experience in specialty insurance and reinsurance.
Over the past year, he has served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, where he has demonstrated strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise and a collaborative approach, earning the trust and respect of colleagues across the Group.
Additionally, Martin Thomas has been promoted from Head of Underwriting Management to Global Chief Operating Officer, a move designed to support the continued growth of the business.
Thomas was deemed the ideal candidate for this position due to his strong execution and leadership skills, as well as Rokstone’s technical knowledge, licensing and insurance data.
Rokstone said: “These appointments reflect our commitment to strengthening Rokstone as we continue to expand globally. With Nadine, Robin and Martin taking on larger leadership roles, we are better positioned than ever to provide our brokers, partners and teams with the clarity, consistency and expertise they expect.”
