Maritime insurer British Marine, part of QBE Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Richard Inman as Portfolio Manager of British Marine P&I.
In his new role, Inman will be responsible for delivering P&I underwriting results for the UK Maritime program and developing the insurance risk strategy across the portfolio.
He has over 13 years of industry experience with a proven track record in technical underwriting, relationship management, business development and managing complex policies and renewals.
Prior to joining British Maritime, he worked at Tindall Riley & Co., manager of the mutual Britannia P&I Club, and most recently as deputy director and senior underwriter of professional mutuals in London and Hong Kong. In this role, he was responsible for the portfolio of key international shipping clients.
