Price Forbes, the independent, specialist international wholesale insurance and reinsurance brokerage, has appointed Tarek Semaan as interim head of the Middle East and Africa region and Anthony Abi Fadel as interim director, both of whom will be based in Dubai.
Reporting to David Howells, Senior Executive Officer, Price Forbes Dubai, Semaan is responsible for leading the growth and development of Price Forbes’ part-time business in the Middle East and Africa. He joins Gallagher Re from that company where he was an executive director.
Meanwhile, Fadel, who will report to Semaan, also comes from Gallagher Re, where he previously served as associate director and has a strong track record as a producer and placement agent in the region.
The company noted that these placements are part of the ongoing expansion of its global adjunct capabilities.
