Paragon Insurance Holdings, an international managing general agency, has announced three senior leadership promotions, expanding the roles of Mike Denton, Brett Papenhagen and Erik Ostgulen.
These appointments strengthen Paragon’s Specialty Property leadership team and support continued growth across the organisation.
Promoted to executive vice president of Paragon Insurance Holdings, Denton will continue collaborating with the Specialty Property team while spearheading strategic initiatives across the broader organisation.
The executive has played a key role in the continued development of Paragon’s Specialty Property business and his expanded responsibilities will bring that experience to initiatives across Paragon, the firm stated.
“Mike, Brett and Erik have each made significant contributions to the growth and success of our Specialty Property business,” said Ron Mairano, president and co-founder of Paragon Insurance Holdings.
Adding: “These expanded roles recognise their notable accomplishments while positioning the team for its next stage of growth. We’re fortunate to have leaders of their caliber taking on greater responsibilities across Paragon as we continue to grow our capabilities and find new ways to help our partners do business better.”
The appointments also include Papenhagen’s promotion to senior vice president of Paragon Specialty Property. He will be in charge of leading PSP Custom, the business previously referred to as the OT team.
Additionally, Ostgulen was promoted to senior vice president of Paragon Specialty Property and will lead PSP Select, previously referred to as the E3 team.
These promotions highlight Paragon’s investment in its Specialty Property business and its leadership, and demonstrate its commitment to internal talent development, enhancing the underwriting expertise, capabilities, and service provided to retail agent and carrier partners.
