Novatae Risk Group, a wholesale insurance brokerage, managing general agency and program manager, announced the appointment of Walter Juergens as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
In his new role, Juergens will be responsible for Novatae’s overall financial management. His responsibilities include driving strategic financial thinking and implementing change across the organization.
The executive will serve as a key member of Novatae’s executive leadership team and World Enterprise Finance leadership team.
“Walter brings us the strategic, hands-on financial leadership we need during this phase,” said Nick Greggins, president of Novatae. “His experience in complex operations and building scalable financial support structures will be critical to our long-term vision.”

Juergens has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the insurance, professional services and complex project practice areas.
He most recently served as regional CFO for AssuredPartners and prior to that worked at KPMG. Jurgens is a certified public accountant.
