Specialist insurance provider Newline Group has announced the appointment of Christopher Moy as head of professional indemnity.
In his new role, Moy will be based in London and report to Newline Group chief underwriting officer Andy Pecover.
He brings more than a decade of underwriting experience. Moy joined Newline as an underwriter in December 2022 and has since played an integral role in the development of the firm’s professional indemnity business, taking on increasing responsibilities over the past few years.
Prior to joining Newline, he was an underwriter at International General Insurance (IGI) and spent six years at Nexus Underwriting.
“Chris has proven to be a valuable addition to our London team,” said Peckover. “His strategic insights have strengthened our broker and client relationships, and we look forward to watching him continue to make an impact in this new role.”
