I will be the first to admit that I have a bit of an iced coffee addiction.
On a good (/restrained) day I have two, but most of the time it’s nearer three or four. I love treating myself to a coffee shop beverage as much as the next person, but my bank balance can’t really tolerate the daily hit.
With living costs and food bills on the rise once more, I’d been on the lookout for something that can help stop me spending so much money on takeout iced coffee, but still looks cute and – most importantly – keeps spills at bay.
When I came across the Nespresso travel tumbler, which was plastered across my TikTok feed, I knew I had to try it.

First things first, let’s talk about the size. I can’t cope with a small coffee, if it’s not large then it’s not for me. This tumbler (thank the coffee gods) is perfect – it can hold a solid amount of cold coffee, 450ml to be precise, which is ideal for those long morning commutes.
It’s also a great way to save you a bit of money. You can make your iced coffee at home and then take it to work with you, which saves the temptation to drop £6 on a coffee on your travels. The tumbler costs £19, so it saves you cash in the long-run. I could easily blow £40 on takeout coffee in a week, meaning it’s already paid for itself.
What’s also great about the chic tumbler is that it’s completely spill-proof. The bubblegum pink straw comes with a cover that you can place over it to stop leaks.
You can even shove it into your handbag and know that it won’t leak over your prized possessions – a total win when you’re on a busy tube. (I will say though, be prepared for some funny looks when you pull a coffee out of your bag.)
The tumbler is for cold drinks only (sorry hot coffee lovers). It doesn’t keep drinks ice-cold for ages, which is probably the only downside, but if you have a decent amount of ice in there it stays cool for roughly an hour or so. Still a win in my eyes!
If you want to go a step further, which I do (because one coffee is never enough), take some ice in another tumbler (it has to be one that keeps things cold though) so you can make an iced coffee in your Nespresso cup at work. When I did this recently I got so many questions initially, but ultimately plenty of nods of approval.
All in all, I’m a reusable iced coffee cup convert. It might seem like a small thing but it saves me so much money per week and I also just love the look of it – it’s way cuter than your average takeout iced coffee cup.
