Global reinsurer Munich Re has announced the appointment of Thomas Wilde as Customer Executive for Israel and the Maghreb, effective July 1, 2026.
With 35 years of international industry experience, Wilde combines deep underwriting expertise with a strong, people-centered leadership approach.
Since joining Munich Re in 1988, he has made significant contributions in Latin America, Australia and Europe.
Most recently, Wilde served as senior executive advisor to Munich Re.
Prior to this, he held a number of senior leadership roles, including CEO of Munich Re Italy, Property Underwriting Manager for Continental Europe and Property and Casualty Underwriting Manager for Australia.
