Conduit Holdings, the ultimate parent company of Conduit Re, a Bermuda-based multi-line reinsurance business, has appointed Anthony Mongiello as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with immediate effect.
His appointment, subject to Bermuda immigration approval, follows the retirement of Stuart Quinlan earlier this year.
Mongiello brings over 25 years of insurance, reinsurance and financial services experience, with a proven track record of creating and leading efficient and high performing operations, Conduit highlights.
As COO, the executive will be responsible for Conduit’s Operations, Information Technology, Underwriting Operations and Claims functions, and become a member of the Executive Committee.
Mongiello joins Conduit from Aspen, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Aspen’s Reinsurance and Capital Markets businesses.
Prior to this, he spent more than 15 years at AXA XL in progressive leadership roles, including the Global Head of Operations for the reinsurance business.
