Palantir Technologies Inc., a software company specializing in big data integration, analytics and artificial intelligence, has expanded its presence in Mexico through a partnership with GNP Seguros (Grupo Nacional Province), Mexico’s largest insurance company and part of the Grupo BAL consortium.

This alliance is a milestone for Palantir, as GNP Seguros becomes the company’s first publicly announced commercial customer in Latin America.

To provide a secure, scalable, and regulated foundation for enterprise AI, Palantir’s platform is designed to enhance customer service and support decision-making by underwriting and claims professionals in the insurance industry.

GNP Seguros has previously used Palantir’s Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) in targeted deployments to detect claims fraud, monitor risk and improve underwriting.

Foundry and AIP will unify claims, underwriting, operational and risk data into a single operating foundation as GNP Seguros expands these capabilities across its health, life, auto and damage insurance portfolios.

This centralized framework enables teams to identify anomalous claims patterns, flag potential fraud before payment is made, uncover risk insights faster, and test underwriting changes in near real-time while retaining manual oversight, traceability, and governance.

“GNP Seguros is one of the most important institutions in Mexico, and we are proud to see Palantir’s technology become a core foundation for its continued innovation,” said Eduardo Esteve, vice president of Latin America at Palantir Technologies. “With Foundry and AIP, GNP Seguros is applying AI-driven decision-making and agent operations across its business, helping its team more effectively provide millions of people in Mexico with the high-quality coverage they deserve.”

At the core of Palantir’s value proposition is technology acceleration while maintaining strict governance, data traceability, model interpretability, and human judgment.

By accelerating critical insights and taking immediate action under a strict governance model, we reaffirm our ability to responsibly lead the market, innovating with these state-of-the-art capabilities to deliver direct benefit to our customers, salespeople and Mexican families.”
