Global professional services firm Aon has announced the appointment of Nick Komissarov as head of North America Lifestyle Consulting for its Strategy & Technology Group, effective immediately.

In his new role based in California, Komissarov will lead the firm’s consulting capabilities, focused on helping clients seize key opportunities across the life spectrum, including capital optimization, profitable growth and regulatory compliance.

This will enable clients to better cope with volatility, build resilience and make better business decisions.

He will report to Van Beach, global head of Living Solutions at Aon Strategy & Technology, who commented: “Nick’s appointment reflects our continued investment in Living Solutions by adding leading talent and developing cutting-edge technology solutions to deliver real value to our broad customer base.”

The Aon Life Solutions team provides a comprehensive suite of solutions across the life insurance spectrum and provides actuarial consulting services to complement and leverage the company’s life insurance actuarial modeling technology, PathWise.

Combined with its life reinsurance brokerage capabilities, all of this enables the company to provide a comprehensive range of products to clients, including life and annuity insurers, asset managers, private equity firms and other stakeholders throughout the life industry.

“I’m excited to be part of the Aon Global Life Advisory team and bring the power of PathWise actuarial modeling to more of our clients,” said Komissarov.

The executive joins Aon from WTW, where he served as head of sales for the North American Life Practice and head of M&A. During his career, he also held roles at John Hancock and Resolution Life.
