Independent specialist re/insurance broker Miller has appointed Katie Murrell as Director of Sport, Entertainment, Corporate & A&H, where she will be responsible for delivering specialist insurance solutions to sports- and entertainment-focused clients.
Murrell joins Miller from Tysers Insurance Brokers and has 15 years of experience in the insurance market.
Her background reportedly spans Financial Lines, Contingency and Corporate insurance, with a particular focus on entertainment and sports clients.
In the new role at Miller, Murrell will be based in London and report to David Griffiths, Senior Director of Sport & Entertainment.
The firm explained that she will focus on risk and exposure across a wide range of sports and entertainment verticals.
