Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broker and risk advisor, has appointed Ignacio Llobet as Senior Treaty Broker, Reinsurance Solutions Iberia.
Llobet has over two decades of experience across the insurance and reinsurance industry, with deep expertise in the Latin American and Iberian markets.
He started his industry career in 2007 through a Leadership Training Program at W.R. Berkley Corporation, gaining training as Preferred Workers’ Company, Nautilus Insurance Company – P&C Jr. Underwriter, Acadia Insurance Company – P&C Jr. Underwriter, and Berkley Surety – Surety Jr. Underwriter in key regions of the United States.
Llobet then went on to serve in a dual role at Berkley International as Regional Reinsurance and International Business Manager for Latin America, and as Executive Director, Berkley International Seguros Uruguay for 15 years.
Most recently, he spent over three years with Gallagher Re as Divisional Director, Reinsurance Broker and as Senior Broker.
