Reinsurance broker Howden Re has appointed David Simpson to its International broking team, based in London.
He will join the firm in early 2027, following the completion of his contractual obligations with his current employer.
In his new role, the broker confirmed that Simpson will be vital at driving growth across the Nordic region and Continental Europe.
This appointment aims to further strengthen Howden Re’s European offering from London that works with regional teams to provide fully integrated broking and advisory across all products and sources of capital.
Simpson has almost two decades of experience in the reinsurance industry, and is widely recognised for his expertise in Nordic Property & Casualty reinsurance.
