Global reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter has appointed Andrew Hare as managing director and head of growth for Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Hare will focus on accelerating sustainable profitable growth across the region by aligning client strategies, market opportunities and Guy Carpenter’s global capabilities.
He is a senior reinsurance and insurance executive with extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on global clients, growth strategies and creating value in complex markets.
Hare joins Guy Carpenter from FIS where he served as Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Insurance.
Prior to this, he led Moody’s Pacific Insurance Solutions division, supporting the insurance industry in navigating an increasingly complex risk landscape while leading and developing teams in the region.
Hare also spent 17 years at Aon in various senior leadership roles, most recently as managing director and head of Aon Inpoint Asia.
