Gallagher Re, a global reinsurance brokerage and advisory firm owned by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., announced the appointment of Michael Cipolla as interim vice president.
In his new role, Cipolla will work with underwriters and colleagues to cultivate a team culture rooted in humility, communication and solution-oriented problem solving.
He has more than 15 years of casualty underwriting leadership experience.
Cipolla joins Gallagher Re from Everest where she held a number of senior leadership roles, most recently as Chief Casualty Underwriting Officer for Everest Evolution, Everest Insurance’s U.S. specialty wholesale brand.
Prior to that, he served as vice president and head of E&S Major Casualty at Everest Insurance.
Earlier in his career, Cipolla worked for Swiss Re and Lexington Insurance Company.
