Bermuda-based specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has appointed Emily Yoo to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective August 10, 2026, based in New York.
Yoo will join SiriusPoint’s executive leadership team with responsibility for technology, claims, transformation and operational excellence.
SiriusPoint created the position of Chief Operating Officer to maintain its focus on strengthening and improving performance across the business.
Most recently, Yoo led global operations, technology and transformation for Zurich’s travel insurance business. Prior to that, she held positions at Bain & Company, Deloitte and Tokyo Marine Corporation.
SiriusPoint CEO Scott Egan commented on the appointment: “Emily is a well-respected leader with deep industry experience and a proven track record.
